Taking the subway is WAY cheaper then paying for what is not even a tour. Also, there is a subway that runs straight from Zurich to Lucerne. Lucerne is a small enough town to discover yourself in 3-4 hours at a leisurely pace. So if you do not book any extra things, which all the tours seem to be this way where you need MORE money to do the “fun”s stuff, save the money and…”
